Lorena's baptism.  She bore a powerful testimony.

President and Hermana Madariaga attended Lorena's baptism.

HEY EVERYBODY!

Sounds like some crazy moving is going on for Russ and Aspen, and it is cool to hear about the seminary scripture list that Mom memorized.

Lorena got baptized and it went really well. The baptism itself was really good. There weren't a lot of people, but it was a good service and President and the Hermana Madariaga came, which was good. The coolest part though was the testimony that Lorena gave after her baptism. She shared her journey of getting baptized and how she made the decision. All the investigators in the room were crying and it was a really powerful testimony. She said that she made her decision when we answered her question of what would have happened if Adam and Eve didn't eat the fruit. It was a good question with a good answer. We answered it with the Book of Mormon and by teaching the Plan of Salvation. She said that was the moment when she felt like she knew this was the truth. It is so cool how the true gospel of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Happiness can answer so many of our life's questions, and give us hope for what is to come. It was a cool experience.

Other than that it was a good week. We have another baptism planned for this Friday, but she is not 100 percent so we are going to be working hard with her to get her feeling prepared and ready. She is a really cool lady that I have been working with since I got to this area and she is ready to make the convenent. Other than that we are just working and trying our best to bring as many people as we can to Christ. I swear, weeks feel like days and months like weeks. It is crazy how fast it is going. I love you all so much and am so grateful for all the support and love that you give to me all the way in the United States, and in a little bit, Guam.
