July 4th . . . Eating Pig Parts and Working Hard!

Hey Everybody!
First I want to say Happy Birthday to Jamie!!

Everything is going great here and we have been working hard.  The change is coming to a close and we will see what happens.  I am hoping for a change of comps, but we will see what happens.  I really like my area though.  So we have found a lot of 'news' this week and have had a lot of opportunities to share the restoration which has been good and we have really been perfecting our teaching together.  Its just sometimes my comp really doesn't have the best people skills and it can sometimes hurt the lesson. But its all good.  We had our Noche de Cultura and the Hermano Garcia came and he hasn't come to an activity in about 6 months so that was good.  He has such an awesome family that just wants him to start going to church again.  When we were talking with him we asked him if there was anything we could do like service or something like that. Ha. He says yeah, come here, and then He takes us to a pot with pig parts in it. Ha ha.  We ate blood sausage and pig skin wrapped pork.  It was actually really good.  Maybe we just have to eat some more weird stuff to get him back to the church.
Other than that we have just been working really hard and have been finally having some good success as the change ends.  Today we are going to have a BBQ with an hermano from our ward for the 4th of July so that should be good.  But we will see what happens in this next part of my mission. It has flown by so fast already.
I love you guys so much and am so grateful for each of you.  I know that if we have our Savior, Jesus Christ in our lives and if we keep him at the center that we can have some of the richest blessings that we can desire. Love you guys,  God bless.
Love
Elder Pearson
