Chase's first email home...Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010

Hey!

Things are great!  I am having a really good time here, but am just tired a lot (haha).  My companion's name is Elder Manu and he is half Samoan and half "kiwi" - or from New Zealand.  The studying is going well and we are teaching the first lesson on Wednesday to a fake investigator.  I am excited to be here and have been feeling the spirit every day.  Our district is all going to Paraguay besides two elders going to the Dominican Republic.  They are all really great guys.  The Spanish is really tough but I have been working hard at it.  It's crazy to see elders who have been here for almost 6 weeks and how well they are speaking the language.  Our meastros are both really awesome.  It is a lot of hard work, but I know it will benefit me when I reach Paraguay.  I love this gospel and have been feeling the spirit so strongly.  I love this experience I have been able to embark on.  I love you guys!

Amor
Elder Pearson
